A violent clash broke out between BJP and Congress workers in Patna on Friday after tensions flared over a controversial video from a Congress event in Darbhanga. The footage, which surfaced on August 27, showed a man draped in a Congress flag allegedly using derogatory language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother.
Angered by the incident, BJP workers staged a protest outside the Congress party office in Patna. The situation quickly escalated into violence, with workers from both sides wielding sticks and flagpoles in physical confrontations.
Police rushed to the spot and intervened to bring the situation under control. According to sources, several people sustained injuries in the clashes, while a few vehicles parked inside the Congress office premises were also damaged.
