TNPSC Group 1 Prelims 2025 Results Out; 1,843 Cleared for Mains

Candidates must pay exam fee and upload documents between September 3–12
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced the Group 1 Preliminary Examination Results 2025 on Thursday, August 28. Out of 1.81 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, 1,843 aspirants have been shortlisted to appear for the Main examination.
The preliminary exam was conducted on June 15, 2025, across 38 district centres and 6 taluk centres. A total of 2,42,829 candidates had registered for the test, of which 1,81,422 appeared. Following the Commission’s selection rules, only 1,843 candidates cleared the cut-off to advance to the next stage.
Shortlisted candidates must pay an examination fee of ₹200 and upload scanned copies of supporting documents for claims made in their online application. This process will remain open between September 3 and 12, 2025, on the official website tnpsc.gov.in.
The TNPSC Group 1 Main Examination 2025 will be the deciding stage for candidates aspiring for top administrative posts in the Tamil Nadu state services. The Commission is expected to announce the detailed schedule for the Main exam soon.
